So after 3 months of advertising and dropping the price by more than half, we have a viewer for my girl tomorrow. Don't know whether to be happy as they sound really nice or gutted that she might actually be going soon, moving towards the latter atm
So, questions:
1. I am only 15, will they take me seriously? Parents will be there but they know diddly squat tbh, and as I have never sold anything before am feeling a bit apprehensive.
2. Should I leave her out or bring her in? I personally think that it would be nicer for the child to get her in herself so she can see how easy she is to handle, but not sure if its the done thing..
3. She is white and will be dirty if I leave her out, will this put them off?
4. Annoyingly because the arena has gotten boggy with the rain she has taken to napping and planting her feet when I try and take her down. Any ideas how I can stop this behavior before tommorow? (long shot i know, but worth a try)
5. Lastly and probably most importantly, her injury
YO has told us not to tell them, which I think is ridiculous. She isn't affected by it that much but I am going to make it clear that she cannot ever be ridden on bad ground or go xc again, and if the leg swells up they are not to worry but must rest her. I also thought that if they had any worries I could give them our vets number so they could give him a call and discuss what they want her for and if he thinks she is suitable, good idea??
Thanks for reading and any other general tips would be much appreciated.
