Mr Ralph went lame in oct, vet not quite sure what he had done, with the help of my fantastic physio and farrier they have got him right again.
I bought mr Ralph after not riding for 5 years due to confidence issues and he has been great.
Well this morning was the big day, after him not being ridden since October, I tacked him up, got on and wasn't sure if I could do it, sat on him by the gate for 10 minutes, imagining the worst! YO comes up (non horsey) and asks if i want him to open the gate for me, I reply, I'm not sure he hasn't been out for 5 months and it's a bit windy, his reply, why don't you just go to the end of the drive and back.
So I got to the end of the drive and carried on, he was an absolute star!!! Just walked a short way down the lane and back, I can't believe I was even worried, it was as if he hadnt even had all that time off.
Very proud of him, he's my dream horse!! :)
