Thank you so so much guys! I was quaking like a leaf when my friend gave me a leg up but I just kept focusing ahead on where I wanted to go and gradually just relaxed! It was the most amazing feeling! I still can’t believe it. I swear he has been a different horse since the bean lady came to do his sheath.

I can’t stop thinking back to how devastated I was when I thought we couldn’t give him what he needed - but it turns out patience and love (and refuting to give up) can sometimes make up for a complete lack of experience!

This is such a good question! So hard to say really but I noticed a difference after his gastro guard had kicked in and a very noticeable difference after his “bean” was removed. But I also think his behaviour has improved as I have become more confident with him. Sounds very sad but a real dream has come true for me today ???
