Finally can drive with a horse box!

I can finally drive with a horse box!! And what did I do? Took my semi retired mare to the beach! The first time I’ve been able to take one of my own horse to the beach and we both loved it
Excuse my bad riding being 2/3 months outa saddle and Judy is much outa shape after having the whole winter off and completely barefoot
Can’t wait to do more outings! Judy was also in season so decided after 22 years the water was worth it if Oscar was going in

Up by downings! Absolutely amazing beach always quiet enough and perfect for cantering as soft sand. It’s the boardwalk but the other entrance

You took a 22yr old semi retired horse cantering on the beach, in soft sand, after a winter off and following the effort of traveling in the trailer. Were you not remotely concerned about the potential damage you were doing? As someone who rides on the beach on a regular basis, we don't ever canter on the soft sand as its incredibly hard work for them and puts a lot of strain on pretty much every tendon and ligament. We avoid it other than crossing over it as a rule. We wouldnt take an unfit horse on the soft sand or in the water until a base line of fitness was there. Yoiur just asking for them to breakdown.

I mean you can see from the video it’s not soft to the point where she’s digging in and yes I do know my own horses limits and you weren’t even there. Do you have a vendetta against me? You seem to reply something hateful on all of my posts
