Not been through want of trying the lady training/bringing her on has been managing it no probs but we appeared to have hit a brick wall tll this afternoon! I told her I was adament that I was getting a cantering transition whether GG wanted to or not and we did it :D A full side of the arena on each rein... Small and insignificant I know but I just wanted to share :o

Well done you! All the little things add up! ( at least that's what I am telling myself with my 4yo!)

Well done you, my youngster is now rising 5 and I still haven't cantered her yet, my 14 year old son came up to stables last week to canter her for me to try to give me the confidence to do it, but i'm still a touch nervy, she's a bit edgy and unbalanced and likes an ickle buck as she goes into canter which gives me the colly wobbles :-)

Thanks guys :) Know what you mean about the balance.. our first attemp at canter left I pulled her up as we were heading straight for the wall bless her lol x Her trott work is coming on beautifully we have circles that actually look like circles now and shes lovely and forward. Still early days shes only been backed for 4 months. So proud of her though x
