Hey guys havn't been on here for a good few weeks but am back now, an wanted to let you all know that after having my horse on working livery for the past 8months, last Tuesday i finally took the plunge and went D.I.Y!!!!!!

Verdict is, I LOVE IT!!!! the yard i have moved to is soooooo much cheaper is really friendly and has loads of stuff going on all the time! they even have there own x country course!!!

Also after not getting through the winter very well, he is out on the best grass ever and is starting to look amazing!!

thats brill - I have my horses in a field with two stables and I have to manage the lot..much better, dont have anyone telling me what to do, or the best way to do it, can manage the land how I like, dont have any horses kicking or bullying mine and it works great for me....yep winter is a nightmare...6am starts on mucking out, filling up water buckets with your hands freezing, and lots of mud but I wouldnt have it any other way. Plus you get to know your horses better, they trust you more and build a relationship and you get to see any problems or illness alot quicker cause you are around them 24/7...
