I have tried several calmer's over the last 6 months on my anxious/excitable ISH, now I have found one that works but it has valerian in it (won't name it for fear of advertising!)
It really, really does work but am I sedating my horse with it?
I know it is a herb (is it?) and not a chemical, anyway it works - so I am happy & I have a happy, calm horse to travel/ride, we are no where near competing yet (as I know valerian is not competition legal)
Also, as he is not so stressed he is now putting on weight and looks so much better - happy days!
Here are the ingredients: contains a blend of Valeriana officinalis, Passiflora incarnata,Vitamin B1, Humulus lupulus.
What do you think?
