After seaching for 3 nights constantly ringing and asking people
AM GOING TO SIMONSWOOD SHOWING ON THE 24TH JUNE
I have transport with the girl who's pony i was showing (captain)
Heres the sob story haha
Last year, the 23rd october Katie went lame on her back end with an abscess and she was on box rest for a couple of weeks had her foot dug out at, then she ended up having x-rays because they thought the infection had gone to the bone and if so they would have to do an op and scrap the infection away. Luckily she never and it clears. Well we thought it did when another one came and the same happened again dug away at ect. That all cleared up then she got a bad case of lami and was on strict box rest had blood tests and she then got diagnosed with Metabolic syndrome. The vet said it was 50/50 that she might not be able to be rode again. She got put on tablets for that and eventually made a full recovery and got brought back into work
Although she cant do the things she used to be able to do (eg jump ect) its amazing to have her back to normal again and have my katie back
6 months ago i was told my pony might not be able to be rode again now look at me going to a show :'( brings tears to my eyes as am so proud of my baby
