So at last, my daughter has started having riding lessons on Mollie. After all our problems, the new yard, menage and lovely intructor we've found there have done the trick. So here's some pictures of my two lovely girls. :D

My daughter is almost a complete beginner so no harsh judgements please.

Well done to you, molly and your daughter :). Sounds like the new yard has been a great move for you all, long may it continue.

Thank you everyone. During her childhood, my own health meant that contact with horses wasn't really an option for my daughter. Just the horsiness on her clothes afterwards would have been dangerous. The fact that she can now learn to ride on my horse is a matter of wonder to both of us. :)

As you can see, Mollie is for the most part calm and sensible since her move. Finally it feels like I'm making progress with her.

Both look so happy. Look forward to hearing about how your daughter is progressing.

As others have said, sounds like yard move was just the ticket for you and Mollie!
