Hello there :)

I've been registered here a wee while now but figured I'd best post a little introduction and progress from there.

I'm a Scot, living over the Irish Sea on the Emerald Island and have been here 10 years now

I have a horse, Kaje, who I've had since a foal. She's 7 now, took forever to mature into herself and is now in consistent work. I aim to produce her as a Dressage horse and hopefully, if all goes well, 2019 will kick that off! Kaje is actually half Friesian and the other half is Thoroughbred.

So there is Kaje as a foal.

Here she is now under saddle.

Here she is in a photo posing in a photoshoot I did with her - I'm a keen amateur photographer too :)

So, all in all, pleasure to meet you all!

Thanks Shirl! Good to know there’s more than one of the auld clan here 😂

I’m actually in the Republic, Westmeath, midlands area really. Nice enough out here, complete opposite from auld reekie where I’m from. I owe Ireland my photography passion and my horse passion :)

I'm from Auld Reekie too...the southside..My twin sis and I have a 2 wee cobs which she is looking after mine in Scotland as I can only get up every other week end at the moment. We have bought a liitle cottage in the The Scottish Borders, but need to get our house ready and put on the market. They are our first horses, well ponies ..( probably be our last as well as we have just turned 64! )

Oh good luck with the move to the boarders! You know, I left Scotland when I was 20 and I’ve been back for wee breaks etc through the years but I haven’t yet seen much of anything outside of Edinburgh. I’ll have to travel and see more of it. I hear the boarders are a lovely area

How’s would anyone even know that? I don’t believe it’s possible to not buy anything there

Clearly I have great money skills

I've heard rumours :D Probably someone who left their wallet in the car and needed special permission to get out for it
