Finally took the plunge

And started jumping lessons first one last night. And to say l was sh...ing myself was an understatment it has been well over 20 years since the last time l done it and had a really bad fall. I cant believe how well my instructor helped me overcome my fear. At the end of the lesson l was jumping a small cross pole from trot and canter. l was so proud of my boy he was an angel and l was so happy l done it so roll on next week can`t wait.

Well done .. bet you keep having warm flash backs now!! I did as only started jumping last year and really enjoy it now - it is just the thought of it before, but once you are doing it - it is brill!!! Now I want to try xc?!? but need a kick up the arse and a lead first.

It is something l wanted to do for ages but just needed to give myself a good kick up the ass. My little man loves jumping and l was getting friends to jump him because l was to chicken lol. But l new it was something l had to do.

Well done you......I think that after a break from riding or a nasty fall we all feel a bit scared. I know i did and still do sometimes but having the right horses for you helps..

After my fall l never jumped again but l use to watch everyone doing it and l use to wish l could bring myself to.
