My horse is in a "hand-me-down" bridle from my previous horse who had a much finer head. After seeing this picture I've decided that he needs a chunkier bridle....

Do you think a "comfort style" padded bridle or a flat hunter style one would suit him best? Have you got any recommendations for a nice English leather cavesson bridle with hook billets (NOT buckles!)?

Thanks

i think a hunter style would suit him,get the sabre eton i have one and its gorgeous :-) if u dont want to spend a fortune i also have a jhl bridle which is fantastic and was cheap as chips

If you want something cheap but quite nice I recently bought a cotswold sport bridle of ebay. It's got coloured padding on the noseband, browband and a padded wavy headpiece and only cost about £40. they've got loads of colours and brown or black leather. it needed a really good oil but it looks nice - even the stitching on the keepers on my blue one was blue!

personal taste, I really dislike the flat hunter style and find my sensitive mare goes well in the padded ones as well as looking far nicer

I have an english leather full havana brown padded flash bridle for sale. I bought it for a horse (TB) that I was going to buy but never went through with it.

Its brand new, was put on her once and comes with rubber reins and storage bag. It currently has an eggbutt snaffle in it.

Would like £30 for it/£26 without the bit.

SHOUT if you're interested.
