ok - onto finding myself a new gee gee as have sold my mare (v sad but gone to a better than i ever thought home) - does anyone know of a 16hh plus allrounder - can hack on its own, jump some sj and xc and do as prelim test just about ! not a superstar and age unimportant! budget only to 4.5k got to be safe dont mind forward going but not spooking bucking rearing or spinning! any help much appreciated!! have looked at one i like but want to see some more...

I really enjoy looking for horses for people (nearly half the yard have horses I've found them

), How far are you prepared to travel? Have you asked your farrier if he knows of any suitable horses? My farrier has matched several of his clients with their dream horses.

good idea, i will do! you are in herts too - dont want to travel too far really as have little boy. i am an experianced rider who has lost a bit of confidence on a thoroughbred, just want to buy via recommendation. thanks for your help!

I don't know of any for sale at the moment. Theres a few nice ones of horsemart that sound ideal. (HM803FGFC, HM805ECC6, HM805EFCH)
It's also worth trying Sandalls Farm in Sussex, if you'll travel that far as they have a really good reputation

oh rang that mare - hasnt been jumped for 2 years and hasnt hacked on anything other than roads, am being lazy just want an easy life now! will get you a hacking partner - the coloured next door to you is lovely (and i am going to share her until i get a new one so bring on the gallops!)
