Have posted about this before but no luck, my horse brushes his hind pastern a lot and i need to try and find some boots to cover it to give him some protection. He has a pastern wrap I use sometimes but not all the time because he gets to hot under it and a sausage boot he has but tends to break!

i have looked at the veredus piaffe shield boots but i need them for his hind feet and as it says they're ergonomically designed i dont think they'd fit his hinds!

Cant really bandage down that far as it would probably cause more problems that it would solve!

So over to you guys...

Westropp schooling boots?

My mare has a a lump of proud flesh on her pastern on one of her hind legs and when lunging / working closely she can knock it with the opposite hoof. I use schooling boots on her when working to protect it.
