I'm looking at a variety of options, possibly agility for the little dogs, or obedience.
I would also love to find a class the blind dog could do, would obedience training classes let me bring her or not? [I think she's past agility :O]
Is there anything to look out for when trying to find a good one? I am happy to feed and use toys as rewards, none of them need aggressive training methods etc.
Any thoughts?
(and if anyone knows a northern ireland club they'd recommend, let me know!)

We have a blind do that comes to our obedience classes, so I'm sure you would be more that welcome at those classes. I would ask about localy if anyone takes their dogs to classes.

If you hear of any you could always phone them up and ask about their training methods, even ask if you can sit in on a class or 2 if your concerned, before you take her.

You could try asking at local dog shelters as they may have classes they recommend? They would probably know of quiet classes as well which might be good for the blind doggie to start with?

Try looking under the Association of Pet Dog Trainers website (APDT). They have a list of trainers in each county & endorse positive training methods.
For agility try looking on agilitynet - again they will have a list of clubs local to you.

When you find a training club, hopefully on recommendation. Make sure that you go along without your dog first, to ensure that you are happy with the trainer and the methods they use. I have been a Trainer and Behaviourist for over thirty years, I am registered, and on my website put that as a very important part of your dog's education.
Sadly there are a lot of trainers out there who think they know what they are doing, but often don't, so make sure you are comfortable with them.
Good luck.
