finding a horse thats gone to a dealer..?

my friend loaned/shared a horse for awhile, but the owner suddenly said they couldnt have anything to do with the horse anymore a few months ago & stopped her from sharing her. the horse stayed at the same yard until now, as today she went to a dealer.
is there a way of finding out where this horse has gone?, because my friend would love to know how shes doing & where shes going.

Doesnt anyone at the yard have the name/ contact details for the dealer? I'm guessing not though.. hence the post, fat lot of use i am! sorry.

no, the owner wont speak to her & hasnt told anyone else on the yard where the horse has gone to. :S
