Hi,
I am looking to find a livery yard for my horse in Shropshire. I moved to this area in late 2011, and found a perfect livery yard just outside Oswestry, but unfortunately, after a year, it closed down, and I moved to Shrewsbury, so I had to move my horse again. She was at the new livery yard for 8 weeks, and it was lovely, but because of my work, I am sometimes unable to see her every day, and this yard offered no assisted DIY :( so I had to move her again. The new yard was perfect at first, but various issues are beginning to arise which are appearing to be unsolvable :( I'm really not the kind of person to complain all the time, but I think I've just been unlucky with finding the right livery yard for my horse. I feel terrible moving her around so much, but I just want to find a yard where my horse and myself will be happy! Has anyone else experienced this? Has anyone got any tips on helping horses to settle in quickly? Also, can anyone recommend any livery yards around Shrewsbury? Thank you!!

ive just had the same difficulties and eneded up having to move fast after yo got difficult for no apparent reason other than i wasnt on full livery and not paying her enough for other bits such as hay bareing in mind i was paying £284.00 per month for part livery.... i have no got a new yard hopefully ill be there awhile. but just sick of people not saying when they have issues right away. were not mind readers after all. :(
