I lost out on my loan horse just after christmas after I had a fall and broke my collar bone...I'm now looking for something new and I can't seem to find anything! Any ideas for websites? I check equineadverts, horsemart and horsedeals all the time! I wish I could afford to buy my own, but right now I can't :(

I'm possibly looking for someone to ride mine at the moment due to injury to myself. What you looking for and what level of riding do you do?

Also look out for shares... I am still trying to find someone to share my boy, ie he will become theirs on the days they can come down but there is not a full time commitment as I am around when needed (I work full time and have 2 young children hence the need for someone else)... it seems the same of both sides of the coin at the moment!

I've ridden for 14 years so experienced and had my own/loans in that time, have regular lessons (currently working towards half pass) not had the chance to compete so would like that but not a necessity..14.3hh upwards, for full loan pref but wouldn't mind sharing if that suits :)

Would that be of interest to you? :)

I have seen a lot advertised to share they just never seem local!

I have a 15hh welsh d that's for sale but i might consider a loan to the right home,i don't really want to sell him tbh but maybe a loan woukld be an option. I'm based J5 M40,he is gorge, the chesnut in my pic below. Not sure what your looking for but PM for more info.

Im having the same problem as is my friend, none of the horses I have found are in the local area.

The best places to look/advertise are local tack shops although I havent found anything on them yet I know people who have had sucess.

do you have your own land? or are you going to a livery yard? if the latter then you should go to all of the ones around you and get to know people, put adverts up and such. thats how i got my past 3 loans :) although i did already know some people at the yard. :D

I fractured both elbows before xmas falling on ice. I am waiting an MRI of my right wrist and may need surgery. Currently my mum and dad are looking after my horses. One is a 22yr old 3/4 TB gelding who is a show jumper who I usually compete upto 3ft now. The other is a 10yr old TB gelding who I've been working on since his kissing spine surgery. We had just started taking him to shows before I fell. They are not quiet, ploddy rides but certainly not dangerous. We are based just off Junct 13 on M1. Who is your riding instructor? What do you wish to compete in?
