Been searching desperatley for cheap 5ft - 5ft3 rugs for a ever growing youngster, ebay is doing my head in as the second hand ones seem to be going very high, I JUST WANT SOME CHEAP BARGAIN RUGS HELP!

Car boots are a good place to go, I have sold so many rugs for £5-£10 at car boots, great rugs too. Though it is the season where they are stopping.
How much is the most you ideally want to pay?

Try searching on the riding diary website under events in your area. There seems to be quite a few tack auctions and table top sales in village halls around on the weekends...these are amazing I find all sorts, I managed to get some decent leather fetlock boots for £5 and a really nice cotton Topspec rug for £15! Lots of turnout rugs are usually there! Good luck!

Thankyou , i am looking at about 15ish, its only because he is growing so fast at the moment x

It looks like my trusty seller has put his prices up:(
For years you could get brand new rugs for £10-20, but the cheapest I can see is £40

Have you tried gum tree in your area and local trading papers?

Like you say, with a fast growing youngster you do not want to be spending money unnecessarily

I've recently bought mine from the Robinsons sale, which were super prices..

my non-horsey step brother who was reading this over my shoulder suggests you get a 'rug' from IKEA! :L

HA HA Bless him! A trip to robbys on sat i think!! Ikea idea Is good if it was up to my hubby he would say make THEM into rugs BOOOOOOO LOL!
