finding ex racehorses for sale

I'm currently looking for a new horse, and have decided I would like an ex racehorse however I can't seem to find very much on horsemart or here. I'm probably being a complete numpty, but where else can I look? Ideally looking for something under 16hh as I am only 5'2

I've got up to £1500 to spend. Ideally would have had time off from racing, restarted would be lovely but i'm not being too optimistic! I'm in mid Shropshire.

I bought my exracer from her breeder and she was in Oswestry, Shropshire. I spoke to him last week, and only has an unbacked/unraced one at min. Why not try the re-homing sites? Heros, Thoroughbred rehabilitation centre, Darley rehoming etc
