Hi, I'm based in Essex and am currently trying to find grazing land to rent, which is proving harder than I had originally imagined! If anyone could point me in the right direction or give me any tips, I'd be eternally grateful

Umm, I am from north essex, so don't really know many places round that way but suggest you look (or maybe even advertise) in Essex Rider and ask in local tack shops too (inc Ingatestone).
I think I have seen land to rent in Rochford area, and you could ask at Shopland Hall if they know of any localish grazing.

not in your area but may i suggest lots of wanted adverts? Dont limit yourself however to equestrian places. Many years ago now i ended up putting an advert in our local paper, i was shocked at the response and had a choice of fields! all were owned by individuals with large house, with land (some with stables etc) yet the owners were not into horses so used to just cut the grass. They were actually glad that the land got used and they then had a 'view' from their windows.
