This is probably glaringly obvious but I am having real difficulty in finding these on the new site.

I know that someone posted the link on here a few days ago, but I would like to know how to get them from the site.

You have to register as a member to see the extra options, although I can't get on the damn site at all this morning!

You and me both! Also it says it aims to have results up on the site within 5 days but Diva's redults haven't changed and the last result for OH is April! We have been out every week since then!

I emailed BD about not seeing the extra members options i.e horse/rider results. They have phoned me (the same day) and apologised and said it will be sorted by tomorrow. 100% impressed with that as they must have 1000s of emails to wade through, teething problems were bound to happen but it's encouraging to see they are on the case so effeciently.

If you can't see the extra options I suggest you email them..

The new BD site is still just as pants as last one, my horse's last results are from January and he's won quite a few classes since then and nothing about his paralympic forays which have been very successful. I also find it hard to navigate and frustrating as pages are not running.

But its been like this since I joined BD in 2003. At least the site works better now and looks better. I do also understand that points updates are largely dependant on the show centres passing on the results, but if they've been printed in H&H then they must have sent them to BD too.

My horse's results aren't up there either. But I'm sure that has more to do with the venue not submitting their results quickly enough than with BD.....although I do have a correct record of his points so they must have some results through. Don't know.

They did ring me back within a day of me sending an email to say I couldn't get in; but I'm afraid I think the website, while an improvement, looks to me like a missed opportunity. They should have gone right back to the drawing board and got something a bit more exciting and interesting. It is also a fantastic opportunity to run show reports and lots of rider and horse bios - and there should be lots more about the para riders (after all they are our most successful international riders!).

Out of interest what do you think they have missed, what would you like the site to cover? I know people talk about the eventers website but I've not been on it to compare, how is that so different.

Just to point out I don't work for BD!!

Maybe it would be worth emailing them with your comments, afterall it is a website for 'us'..

Well - most dressage people probably read Eurodressage, but EuroD doesn't cover British shows. I would love if BD ran reports on Premier League shows, and regional championships, rather like Eurodressage does for the BuCha qualifiers (e.g.).

Photos from Premier League shows and regionals would be good too (I liked the way they did photos from the winter nationals this year and hope they continue to do this on the website).

More in-depth coverage of the Nationals, including reports on the lower levels and restricted sections (which H&H tends to skim over).

Perhaps short reports and photos from "ordinary" shows - if a restricted rider wins a Novice, he or she might have a nice mention and a photo on the website - I know this would be great for lots of grass-roots riders who will not make it to the Nationals.

Interviews with riders - and I don't mean Carl, Emile etc; but people who are successful with young horses or are "knocking at the door", and discussions of training techniques or interesting topics which might be too dressage focused for H&H.

Maybe a forum!!!????

I was just thinking a forum would be good. As for me the sections that they have young rider and para's just seem to be scimmed over. I have even raised with H&H and BD that even though they are crying out for para horses that as a loaner of a para horse who has won every time out including his first ever qualifier only a month after he entered para training and whom came 3rd overall in the under 21's talent spotting that it sad that he has yet to get a mention in either publication. I do it for love and the pleasure it brings to his rider whom would not be able to compete so highly otherwise but wonder whether BD who are always asking for these horses really appreciate it.

Thanks for that MM, really good suggestions.

Lets hope then BD read HHO and take your comments on board as that sort of info/news would benefit everyone I'm sure..
