Finding out about BD points?

Is there any way you can see if someone's horse has BD points?

A friend of mine has been doing low level dressage and she said one of the girls that won, she had heard the horse had BD points, that exceeded the amount allowed.

just a thought- horse would be out of prelim for BD- not sure if out of novice...but if its unaffiliated then there won't be anything stopping her...
