Things were looking up with my share horsey - we'd found a second sharer so he is no longer for sale (owner is now on F/T course and I work very F/T too so even though he is on 5-day livery we struggle to ride every weekday - new sharer cd have 1 day at the w/end if they wanted though)... Until she decided that she isn't confident enough to do him justice. :-(

We're newish on the yard but everyone is very nice so I'm hoping for a word-of-mouth thing. He'll also be advertised on other yards and the usual websites.

Despite calling him Unsuitable (I was looking to share a boring plod not a lovely Arab!) I'm very happy with him as a first share. He grooms me when I groom him and is a lovely 'person'. The yard facilities are fab: 2 outdoor schools, 1 with jumps (which he loves and I'm learning to!), a small indoor, horse walker, fields to hack around and bridleways/quite roads next door, tea room etc, etc. So, all we need now is a nice confident rider to take advantage - fingers crossed!

where abouts are you?

Just into Hertfordshire where it meets N London. Car (or bicycle for someone local) wd prob be needed to get there but it only takes me 45min from St Paul's in central London.

Should have said also: he doesn't 'do' anything scary at all but is very imaginative so will invent/find things to have a tiny start at if not kept occupied.
