Having potential new horse vetted today and am desperately hoping he passes.
He is a 16.1hh 5 yr old iron grey Irish gelding. I took him cubbing on Sat and loved him. He is still very green but he's so genuine and got such a fantastic jump. This time next year after a season's hunting then summer of lessons and xc schooling he will be amazing.
This will be third time lucky - first horse I had on trial and he was evil out on hound exercise and second horse I loved but he showed his true colours out cubbing and started rearing and spinning round so he had to go back too. Thankfully his owners took him back and gave me a refund so this is third time lucky.
However, if its meant to be it will be and if not - the search will continue!!!
