Tomorrow is the day, as some of you may know or may not know, my little angel Marley was kicked in the field a couple of weeks back and was quite badly lame after as a result, lameness that showed up in all 4 legs.
after a week of Danilon and 'pen rest' (cant be stabled) lameness was less and down to 3/10s and was showing in both hinds but not infront at all. we discovered that his back was also horrifically tense to the extent that he has nearly no sensitivity in it (please dont jump on me for this he has been turned away for a year to learn to be a horse again after huge issues under saddle and at the time had back teeth etc checked also had a vet out and nothing of any note was found) so we made the decision that tomorrow well today he will be going into the vets for a full lameness workup subsquently followed by necessary tests
this little horse is such a character, such a loving boy and i have watched him grow from a terrified skinny mess into a bubbly cheeky proper welshie
and means the world to me despite his many issues and troubles
so just asking for some of those famous vibes for tomorrow to go well (nightmare to load) and that test go well and we either finally find the root of all this and can deal with it or find nothing too serious and make decisions from there.
