The sixth one I have looked at, but the first one that I am prepared to buy having viewed...well, if the vetting goes well! I am currently equineless, and it is awful, tbh!
I like this pony a lot. No pictures yet or details as I don't want to jinx it, but he is a native type and has been very sweet to handle so far. He is too young to ride yet though, so I get to pour money into him for a few years first So I will be keeping up with my lessons too.
Yes, I will be hiring professionals for any breaking/backing: I know my way around the groundwork, and have brought horses back into work but never started one completely before. I have a plan made out: it spans several years, and even has costings for what all needs doing (approx costings obviously).
Thank you, I just want to get the vitals checked: if nothing else I can send my insurers a copy. Oh yes, now the insurance issue...I am comparing quotes. Would like full veterinary cover and public liability, and of course the basic bits. Any reccomendations or hints to avoid, please PM!
