It went very well. Lots and lots of xrays. Front left is fab, Front right(which was the real dodgy one) is fine xrays show a little wear and tear, but nothing that overly concerns the vet. Back feet were good but farrier was very picky and wants to either shoe further back to encourage the heel growth but Finn has been sound for ages. Finns front's grow to the outside and the backs to the inside. The farrier is also thinking about pads on back feet due to prolapsed frog. The bones showed to be very slightly broken backed.Also I am taking him off of Farriers Formula and replacing with new supplement from America. The vet said I have to stop wrapping him up in cotton wool and just enjoy him now. Its been a really tough year and I still can't believe I have actually had some good news. Thanks for your vibes.
