Had a phone call late last night saying that a caravan that is next to our field is on fire. Horses are in the field.
2 gas bottles had exploded and the horses had taken flight.
Race to the yard in my p.j's to find 2 fire engines trying to put out huge flames. Took around 2 hrs to put the fire out. There is nothing left of the caravan and luckily the man who lives in it was away.But has lost everything.
Found the horses in the top corner of the field, they were very shaken up but all ok. Couldn't get near them last night but got them in today for a rest, bless them,
Very frightening but noone hurt which is the main thing.
Police and fire chief back today and think the fire was started deliberately
