I love the fact that because he has a boys name the DM have said he's a stallion. I couldn't see any evidence of that myself!

Looks gelded to me. I think the DM used poetic license for the play on words, SOS, as in save our stallion. Not a big deal, probably Thomas quite liked to be written up as a stallion.
