I know that you were really upset (and honestly we all felt for your dilemma) and wondered whether there was a happier ending for your horse and what you had decided.
It is so horrible when you realise that your dream is never going to materialise and to be honest, if I had seen your horse for sale before you bought it from that dodgy person I would have been interested he looks gorgeous, so it could have been me in your situation.
Just hoping that after a few days that you found a good solution and the nice loan home materialised.
Its probably no help, but when my horse went lame, I was too soft to make a decision so he has been happily retired for 4 years now - and despite the vets telling me it would never happen he is now completely sound! So who knows.
It would be great to know how you are resolving it.
