"Did you know that in addition to experiencing stress and fear, animals such as dogs and horses can suffer from tinnitus, hearing loss and long-term hearing damage caused by fireworks? "

Last summer we were at a French campsite next to a music festival. The music was so loud we didn't bother going in as we could hear every note clearly. The evening was to finish with a firework display.
As our dog was with us we found a viewing point well away from the action, or so we thought. Little did we know the wind had changed and all the bangs headed our way instead of towards the crowd. The noise was bad so I covered the dog's ears with my hands, and he just sat and watched. I'm not sure I'd go again.

No I didn't know that - I suffer from tinnitus after long period with leaf blower with not ear muffs Could explain my mares issues with loud noises.

They are so bad for the environment as well, leaching particles into water supplies and air quality is very poor after their use. This is not good for those with lung conditions.

Most people don't give a stuff if animals are affected, so I cant imagine they will ever be banned/dumbed own or restricted on their account.

If they are not going to ban them they should be allowed only on 5th November as per tradition, instead of letting the bloody things off at every opportunity.

I’m hoping that eventually the drone displays which are great will take over.
