Fireworks have started

Been going here since about 5pm and theres loads. Im so worried about my poor horsey as the danes really seem to be doing it in style and my boy has spent the last few years out in the middle of derbyshire, tucked away from them all

We've just had a barrage too - one cat behind the sofa and the other half way upstairs cowering. Didn't expect them until midnight tbh - hey ho

we're up with neurotic resuce dog who loathes fireworks, horses are usually ok, but goats tend to freak a bit.
What gets to me is country stores are selling the blimmin things. If I had the energy, I organise a boycott of certain national chains until they stop making money from livestock and pet keepers, and selling blimmin fireworks!

Malaga's fascinated by them all,the cats asleep on the window, all the dogs are asleep on my bed and the goats were lying on the hay chewing happily and watching through the door of the barn last time I looked

Last night was the most fireworks I have ever seen around here.

10 years a go only the RAF camp did them. So you heard distant booming.

This year our new neighbours decided they would set some off too. We weren't expecting that. I went out to check the horses were OK with the new close by ones and they were having a bit of a canter about. My youngster was the funniest. She came and stood next to me and we watched them together.

I was cursing at the new neighbours for not having the decency to tell us they were going to set them off. It wasn't a problem but that isn't the point, is it?
I would have perhaps been happier if it had been a decent display to watch but it was just very random "weeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee,,,,,,,,,,,,boom"s,,,Rubbish!

I counted 17 separate fireworks parties from where I was standing. Some impressive, some blooming awful.

My Dog was the only one trembling. She hates loud bangs. Although, I think she'll live.
