As title really. My horse has missed all the season so far so having never been to Firle before I wondered how it fares to other .90's in the South-East.

I tried going to the eventing worldwide website for course pictures but it's now a subscription website!?

Thanks.

Try shoestring eventing for pics, also worth asking for thoughts in the twittereventing Facebook group.

I love Firle, big bold galloping course, but I have the original XC machine pony :)

Love Firle. Wouldn't say it's an 'easy' course but then again every horse has different strengths and weaknesses so someones easy is another's tough. There's lots to look at and they usually change it anyway so probably won't be the same as last year, though it will be taking the same route apparently (which changed for last year).

The SJ is in the middle of the trade stands and fairly closed in so can have more atmosphere than other events.

Lovely place and lovely old turf so well worth going.
