What a lovely event - great to have bumped in to the lovely Hattikins, and get to see the gorgeous chesnut girlee in action
Dressage - I rode what I thought to be the best test EVER (which my trainer agreed with) - only to get a very disappointing score of 37
I wouldnt mind, but last week we did the most appalling test (I even went wrong) and yet ended up on 32
Anyway, thats dressage
SJ - Twisty, spooky course, and she ended up in the bad books
Went to the double at 7 on a bad angle, so she was presented on the right hand side of fence - little b*ggar ran out!! Never had a run out before
Oh well, partly my fault but she could've been more honest
Rest clear, but got 1 time fault too..
XC - WOW!!! I kicked for England (had trouble before getting her to gallop- she's quite lazy), and we went clear with only 0.4time, which is a breakthrough for us!! I nearly fainted when I got back though - it was so hot
Photo (permission to post) - this was one of the bigger fences on the course, so I decided to do it one handed
Anyone else there today? Good luck to those competing tomorrow
