First Affiliated Dressage

My first affiliated comp was on Sunday (two novice tests) and after listening to friendly advisers saying that judges much stricter I lowered my expectations and prayed I would not come last.

On arrival checked classes and they were huge (by affiliated standards) - 30 riders and about 17 of them restricted. I recognised a few v good riders and prepared myself for humiliation on a grand scale.

I only went and got 1st and 2nd in my classes and my lovely girl now has 6 points.

Well done you, thats great!! half way to qualifying for the winter regionals then if you got the qualifiying percentage
