i don't have my own horse, but i'd like to swat up on bandages and all the essential stuff. any ideas on what books or websites are good to find stuff out on.

Those are two on amazon which dont look to expensive and are good references. There is another one I cant find it has a red cver, veterinary manual for horse owners which is always on offer in those leflets you get free with horsey magazines. Hope that helps!
