First cob class is on sunday for myself and my 4yr old :) we are going mainly for the experience/day out side of things and obviously with being a baby shes still a bit unbalanced and wobbly! Its a small local show with qualifying classes.
Hoping to show her more this year as the summer progresses and there are one or 2 bigger shows in August i would like to take her to, so with that in mind i want to get it right first time :)
A few questions
Would these gloves be suitable for showing or would a darker brown be better?

I already have these but feel there a bit light in color?!

Wou;d a plain brown showing cane be sufficient?

I don't want to look all the gear no idea :o
Cob is 15.hh lw colored, hogged and trimmed up, pulled tail, brown tack and plain brown hunter bridle (chunky sort) i have brown tweed, beige/yellow jods, long black boots, green tie, navy hat with flesh harness, yellow shirt.

Any imput would be good :)

I'd try and get some plain leather gloves, without the strap over the top, they look a little neater.

I'd say the showing cane would be fine - although arabs are my area of expertise not cobs :p

good luck :)

Any of the pairs of gloves will be fine and the cane would be correct too (in brown), I wouldn't go spending a fortune on a first outing, just go correct and enjoy! Tbh at local you will be against such a range of people I would concentrate on being clean and correct rather than tiny details.
Have fun!

Your current gloves are fine - lots of people wear that colour. I prefer darker ones but that is just my preference. I also prefer ones with straps so they never go baggy - but again that is my preference!

Brown cane is fine. Your outfit sounds fine - don't forget for cob classes it is correct to wear spurs. Also hairnet and tie pin if possible.

Have fun!!!
