First comp. report of the season. Aldon.

Will try and keep it brief...

I've a new ride for half the season (untill the summer holidays anyway, when it's owner gets back from uni).. i've not ridden it that many times, but he's a really sweet sort!! alot of fun, but only pony sized!!

Anyway.. dressage, 34.something.. i thought it should have been better, but ho hum, it's up to the judge.. i was pleased with it, as was the owner!

SJing.. bit speedy, but a solid clear

not that tidy, but very pleasing...

XC.. had a FAB ride!!! clear with-in the time

So ended up 5th, not bad for the first event of the season... roll on Sunday, and Ernie's first run of the season

..

Hey all.. thanks for all the lovely replies

I have been a bit slow on the HHO front.. i've been reading a little here and there, but not really enough time to reply to anyone.. am so tired i seem to fall asleep at the computer before i get a chance to reply!!

Racing pony is trundling along happily, i said i wouldn't do much with her, and i've not, mostly cos i've not had much time.. she's such a sweetheart tho!!! i'm feeding her quite alot, and she's not doing alot of work, but when i do tack-up and get on, she's just very pleased to be ridden, not silly or anything!!
I don't think she'll ever be steady enough to do a good dressage, as she has a very hurried nature, but she'll be alot of fun to play with, and i think will make a lovely Jr horse, as she's so sweet...

Squeaky the super hunter (who's done 30 hard days) has been sent to Lucy W. to play with for a week, and then talk again, prob. sell... i think he's just too big and strong for me.. he record is pretty [****] already, and i didn't want to run the risk of running again, and something else going wrong, therefore making it even worse... so Lucy can play with him...

Just got back from Aldon again today... P-ing it down with rain.. i know Aldon ALWAYS runs, but something in me wouldn't be surprised if it didn't run tomorrow
