On March 14, 2009 we had a Palomino TB filly born. She is a first in Europe. Yesterday she had her first day out, unfortunately still mud all over due to terrible weather since months, but she enjoyed very much galopping around like a speedy ball. Jumped the rest of a silage bale and almost hit a pidgeon that was not fast enough to escape her speed. Mom was running after her all the time as the daughter did not look where mummy is. Sorry for the mud but hope you enjoy pictures anyway.

How can you get a palimino TB.. its like the coloured TB.

It just wasnt a TB it was a heize 57 with a million diffrent things crossed with it..

What was the name of that palomino tb colt that was born a couple of years ago??

She goes back to Darcys Yellow Turk and he was a dilute and since the JC did not put in the correct colors until I imported two Palominos to Germany and the German JC director insisted on the color Palomino for the TBs to make the correct color put into the pedigrees, since then the color is noted correct. Before NO dilute TB was ever noted as such. That is why with Milkie and Glitter Please it all came out of the blue when people started to realize there ARE dilute TBs.

And the Palomino TB colt which was a first in Europe/Uk too, was by this same stallion of mine: RFF The Alchemist xx a 17.1 hh Cremello TB stallion.

She looks cute!
I do wander what the market for dilute tbs is though- have any proved themselves to be useful racehorses? Are they being used in the sport horse market or just for colour enthusiasts?

In USA and Canada I think there are plenty of dilute TB sporthorses already. My former stallion Nite Spot - deceased in 2008 - competed in Hunters.

If this filly keeps on to be looking promising I will send her to the German track. This will mean she has to leave us once weaned to go to a TB raising stud farm to be raised among TB foals only.

We have several Guaranteed Gold sons and daughters that are in training over here in North America on the track already and/or will be this year. None have made their first starts yet.

I think that Europe and the UK are still a few years behind still and in the coming years not only will you see the palomino's and buckskin TB's in the show rings over there, but you will also start to see them on the track as well

Will be very interesting indeed to watch their progression as we go forward!

Congrats on her Gwen - she is a lovely filly!

They exist and the JC/Weatherbys acknowledge it and will register them as Palomino/Cremello/Buckskin etc. now. Previously they had been mis-registered as chesnut or brown mostly.

Thanks to all that have sent congrats.

@rollin
I am in Germany and it was Dr. Uphaus from the German JC aka Direktorium fuer Vollblutzucht und -Rennen in Cologne that stepped into the new world of "colorful TBs" with their correct color naming!

Congratulations on yet another first!
Gorgeous looking filly with alot of go! Her poor mum is in for a busy couple of months!!
'The Alchemist' is producing promising foals.
