Well today George and I did something new, an eventer trial. It was a 2ft 3 course of 10 showjumps followed by 14 xc fences - and it was so much fun! :D

We did the clear round first, and had 1 fence down in the sj, but clear for the xc bit so we got a nice rosette for our troubles :) We then did the 2ft 3 class and had a double clear, and despite not going very fast were thrilled to discover we'd come 5th :D

The only disappointment of the day was the photographer, he had taken some nice pics and I really wanted to buy a couple. I didn't have my purse with me, so asked when they would be available online, and he said they only sold them on the day :(:( What a shame, so no piccies to show I'm afraid.

But hey ho, all in all a great day and judging by George's ears on the way round he was loving it :)

YAY..... go George. It is a nice course isn't it.... did they have that roll top skinny? I came a cropper at that one at the last one they ran. I was disapointed that I didn't get to it today, but what with the car, a lost shoe and lack of funds it wasn't ment to be. It is a shame that they insist on using this particular photographer though. They have them at most events and I wonder how many sales he looses because he doesn't have a website and I am one of these people that takes ages to decide with photo to buy and will not get them on the day as I feel pressurised and end up getting really naff ones!

That's great news - well done. It's a brilliant feeling when you've achieved something like that - I'm jealous!

Did you get a card for the photographer? It might be that he would post images to you, if you ring him up with your competitor number and describe George? Worth a try!

ETS that that was my 600th post!!!

Massive well done, there really will be no stopping you two!!!

Hope the photographer can help you out, I would imagine he would otherwise it is a lost sale.

xx
