Started off a bit shakey in the pairs - he took a hold and ran out on a couple of jumps, my fault really for not being completely in control but I just did not know what to expect, the other 'pair' had never done it before either!
Decided to give the individual round a go - put the bit down for a bit more control (please no criticisms as I know a lot of people on here disapprove) - and he went perfectly - listened to everything I asked of him and jumped everything. I thought we'd gone clear until someone told me I completely missed out a jump!!! OOPS
Anyway I am so proud of him, although it was only a novice course, some of the jumps were sizeable (for me anyway!). Such a lovely day, will definitely be trying it again!
