Pleased to announce the safe arrival of a very big and healthy filly foal at 2.10am this Friday morning. Our TB mare "Marsara" gave birth to her 6th foal (the third of hers by our own TB stallion "Advise"). Very pretty foal and we can't wait for the show season to begin.

Congrats, any pics? I see the dam is by Never So Bold - Rhi's grandmothers sire

Never posted a photo before so here goes. If it doesn't work, then sorry but bit thick when it comes to all this photo stuff being shown around. Photo shows the foal at 8 hours old. She's a real live wire and is bouncing around the stable at the moment with mum following behind. Vet came this afternoon to give her a check over and do bloods and jabs, and all fine. Just got to pray for nice weather now to get them out into the paddock but meanwhile she can have a walk about in the yard tomorrow so that her dad, brothers and sister can all see her. So here goes, does the photo come up or not ..........

[/ QUOTE ] Yes, lots of photos and video and have just put one on site here. As for the "Bold" bloodline, they have the most fantastic temperaments - have bred from this line before, both with this mare and with other mares and not a bad word to say about them.

Wow what a gorgeous foal..yum my fav colour with a white star! Have you bred this one to keep?

[/ QUOTE ] Unfortunately no, she has to be sold. Thankfully there are always people wanting foals from this mare and stallion both as racing horses and competition horses, so if anyone likes the look of her now, wants to leave a deposit, then they are more than welcome to spend the next five months or so doing lots of handling with her here. Sorry, this is not an advert, just answering the question of whether we have bred her to keep her. Can't keep anymore, we are supposed to be earning a living.
