16.2hh stunning Irish HW coloured mare, 9 yrs old. 100% in all ways and done everything, inc. BSJA BN & Disco, won her first two ever dressage tests with 70%+. Jumps 1.20m at home. Clear first time XC at 2’9, bold and careful over everything. Novice ride to school and hack but can be strong when jumping. Seen hounds and up to weight. Excels in any sphere, top class allrounder.

This is the horse in my sig and here’s some more pics of her:

Shes lovely, but if you are saying shes jumping 1.20m at home - id want to see a picture of her jumping a decent sized fence then
wink.gif

Id say around £6k, but im rubbish at pricing!

What a lovely, lovely mare.

I think that if she is correct, and moves nicely - properly marketed you could get a lot for her. Especially from someone interested in breeding good MW or HW hunters.

Other than that she sounds like a super all round type of horse - so perhaps in the £3.5k bracket.

Why are you selling her??? (not fishing she's bigger than I'm looking for

)

I dont think you should put she jumps 1.20 then, as its her limit. Id put something along the lines of 'happily jumps 1.10m'

Why are you selling her? or are you just curious as to price? x

Well, ordinarily i'd put her in the 3.5k category.....BUT.....she is a rare beast.....a weight carrier so I wouldn't be surprised to see her nearer 4.5k

Now although she really isn't my type at all, she is a super sort, classy allround weight carrier. I reckon you will sell her easily. pricewise I reckon 6K as there is a good market for this type.

Oh isn't she cool?! Not usually a fan of heavies but she's ace! I think you'd get a good price for her - if she is straightforward to jump and has a BSJA record? Any money on her card? I'd advertise for at lease £5500 but does depend where abouts you are in the country.

Have her AmyMay, she's a sweetie

She's not mine, I had her on loan to jump aff for 6 months, she did amazing considering, doing nothing ever to BSJA 1m in 5 months
smile.gif
She's not really cut out to bsja week in week out, but now she is being wasted. She needs a fun home where she'll be used to her potential

Think i would agree with PG i would want to see her jumping bigger.

I only say this cause i would be concerned that her size would limit her jumping ability. I know you say she is jumping 1.20 at home but thats just 1 jump i would worry how she would cope in a course. So i dont think she would suit someone wanting to do BSJA.

Saying that though like you say she sounds like a fantastic all rounder and whoever buys her will have bags of fun so i would price her at about £4,500.

Dont mean to come across harsh but thats my opinion and i am also rubbish a pricing!!

ETS just read your post and you have already said she wont suit BSJA so ignore my ramblings

She would make a lovely brood mare to put a lighterweight stallion to. Especially as she is such a virsitle type.

She would BSJA but not with someone as competitive as me, although you'd struggle to beat her in a jump off, she can really shift!
tongue.gif

She hasn't got money on her card, we only did 3 BSJA shows with her indoors, she did well, 4 faults, did a couple of jump offs. Because of her size she'd be better outdoors. But she did qualify for the 85cm and 95cm trailblazers

She's so eays to handle and NEVER naughty
smile.gif
She'd make a cracking hunter for a gent and would last all day.

She sounds like a super mare, one worth her weight in gold! I would imagine asking £6000 and being prepared to take offers, you would'nt be far out.

And they are few and far between! Our girl is 3 years older and slightly more MW, but otherwise similar (can do 1.20, happy at 1.10, suitable for a novice MOST of the time, etc) and we paid £3500 for her last year. Bearing in mind yours is heavier so would carry even more weight, and is probably slightly better behaved hunting (ours can get rather 'onward bound') and she is younger, AND coloured which is v popular with many people, I'd definately advertise for £5000 or £5500 depending what she comes with. As people are always saying, you can always come down in price but not go up!

Personally I'd say about £5k down south. She would make a great RC allrounder and the fact that she can carry some weight and is coloured is also in her favour. If she was a hand or two lower she would be perfect for me!

I would agree with £5-7k, especially in the south. We sold our 5yr old coloured cob a while ago for £3500 having done very little compared to your girl. A weight carrying, sane, coloured, well schooled allrounder is worth its weight in gold and i know Jo (JoBo) loved your mare when she saw her jumping.

Is she actually up for sale as i know someone who's looking.
xxx

Not sure on pricing but please PM me with all of her details when you decide how much she is for sale for, as I am very very interested......Sally

How much is she worth…..LOTS! A hell of a lot more then £3500!

She is one of my favourite horses of all time and if I win the lottery on Saturday I will be buying her!

I have seen this horsey jump and boy can she jump! She is really going to make someone very happy (as GinaGem said we know of someone looking for something actually like her so will definitely mention it!).

Down south prices im gonna say at least £5000.

Im tight though so personally would pay about £4000, but I am up north (ish).
