First hunt on tuesday, words of wisdom please!

Ok, I am excited, nervous, worried and everything else at the same time! I'm taking coblet to our first meet on Tuesday and chosen a children's meet as then I know we wont be faced with huge hedges!
I have a dark green tweed jacket (a shires one) and this stock if its ok?

Im going to plait him i think? What should I expect on the day and do i pay visitors fee (£10) and field money (£5) or what?!

The Hunt Secretary will tell you what you need to pay.

Who are you going with?

Your best bet is to talk to the Secretary - have you called them? You'll need to talk to them anyway about going in the first place, so they will tell you what to wear and if the meet will be suitable for you.

Well, it was awesome! Don't know what I was so worried about tbh, cobbie was ace! There wasn't anything to jump but it was a good introduction, we both enjoyed ourselves very much
