First hunt Ride

Well I'm confused as to what photos some are looking at! (although the 1st 1 has been removed).

I can see BB on a fit, healthy obviously clipped out "version" of her pony that is being ridden in her sig.
Is the TB the one in the pic after the over ear shot? I can't see a seriously underweight horse on any of the pics :confused:

I am very jealous of you having such a lovely ride BB, and of your non-fat pony... All these people on about how poor their horses have come out of winter, my horse still looks a bit of a barrel even though she's been completely naked through rain/snow/freezing temps. She's the fluffiest TBx i now :P
 
I removed the pic that prompted peoples nasty comments as to remove all notion that it might be me riding two horses at the same time in the same saddle.

Thank you for the above, it was a lovely day, we were made to feel very welcome and were encouraged to come back :) I won't let someone undo the kindness that was shown to us and the good memories and time we were given by the hunt.
 
Why are people so terrified of slim horses? Why do people think that because a horses ribs are showing that somehow it can support it's riders weight less than if it were well covered? :o
 
It was only when I got to the first page that I realised that the first picture must have been removed, all I could see was BB on her black horse with the red boots and I was really confused because both her and the horse looked fine together :confused:

my oh my I havent even bothered to read this whole lot of nasty. Honestly when there are horses suffering a worse fate than being much cared for etc what a load of tosh.

I hope you enjoyed your day, you are braver than me! But it looks good fun and a good experience for you both. Enjoy your well cared for horse. Live and learn.

BB I wasn't at hunt ride as I was working but I go out with the L&R on occasion. Glad you had a good time, Their a lovely bunch. Hopefully see you next time!
