First hunt - Saturday with the Oakley

Hi All,

I am planning to go to my first hunt on Saturday with the Oakley. Anyone else going?

I am taking my friends Irish Sport Horse 16.3 who has hunted lots before in Ireland and is a real gent.

Can you let me know what I should be wearing? Tweed jacket or black?

I will phone the hunt Secretary later on but thought I would try to get some info from you guys.

I am guessing I have to plait too?

After opening meet, it's correct to wear black coat and hat with beige breeches and a white stock.
Definitely plait.
Give the Secretary a call just to check that it's ok to go out. She might even find someone to nanny you as it were.

If you went on Oakley hunt ride doing a special this saturday £20. I might go if my hand is better but swollen at moment as jabbed it when injecting sheep. I have a bright bay IDx mare 16.1 who last time pulled for England.
