First Lesson

I have my first lesson on Bert at 530 and am starting to feel sick with nervers!

Haven't had a lesson in neraly 18 months and I seriously suck, I did tell the instructor that it was back to basics but I really don't think she realises just how basic!

Well I'm Back and had a fab time...

we did everything on a 20m circle, which is a miracle in itself as we normally struggle with circles and guess what, apparently he is not made from wood! He does bend and very nicely too found this out after I actually bent my arms instead of looking like I pushing a wheelbarrow *ashamed* Poor poor Bert how he puts up with me i'll never know.

Was very pleased to hear that i have a really good lower leg and seat! *shocked* This used to be my biggest downfall and I guess I have only one person to thank for the improvement.....they know who they are. Also it was pointed out that the flash i have through my D rings to hold onto when he bolts is much more effective on his gob!

Am thoroughly pleased although shattered and aching already and in my enthusiasm have agreed to ride out at six thirty tomorrow morning!
