... and overall pretty successful!
Took Arlo and a livery to a polework clinic today. It’s only five minutes drive down the road so I normally ride to the venue but thought it was a good chance to get the new trailer for a spin. Arlo loaded straight up first, then loaded his buddy. They travelled perfect and got off chilled at the other end.
Arlo however is was a bit over excited to be back at pony parties and when we initially got on, we had some rather lovely, but unwanted passage around the arena. He settled very quickly though considering it was the first time he had boxed to the venue and he was in the arena with strange horses. He then did the best polework he has every done, he felt great!
I also made the last minute decision last night to do a small clip, in the dark and fog! This is first clip with me and was previously sedated to be clipped but he stood like a rock and a was a very good boy, I think he looks rather smart!
I hope everyone else is having a lovely weekend! 😀
