As title really, my YO and I are planing to take our ponies out this year, one is a 4 year old miniature shetland and the other is a 5 year old Sec c. We only want in hand classes and somewhere that is of local level, neither have been out for 2 years... I'm currently looking at the Topthorne Charity show or the Easton College showing show, what are these venues like?

Many thanks :D

Topthorn is very nice and has a nice warm cafe so you can shelter from the weather. I haven't been to Easton for years!

Would second the opinion on Topthorn very good place although can get v busy so depends on how bigger show you fancy. Have never been to Easton as I'm too lazy when it comes to travelling lol.
I'm doing the charity show in March so if you go we'll have to hunt each other out! :D

Easton is lush, enormous arena, light and airy and a lovely surface. Took Al's baby mare there for her first dressage test and it was the perfect venue.
